12th Mar
Jane Gray
It’s March and Spring is springing.
At last the nights are getting so much lighter, and the mornings too. The snowdrops have been showing off along the drive and in the coppice by the cottages, next to the coffee shop. The first daffodils have raised their heads, hawthorn hedge leaves are unfurling and wild cherry is blossoming in the Duckpond fields. We’ve seen a few curlews and lapwing recently and there’s a barn owl living just across from the farmhouse. Here’s the link to the full March Newsletter – it’s a great way of staying in touch with what’s happening at Broom House!
