Hopefully most of you have been in recently to see our lovely new displays in the counter and Jamie's great new BBQ packs, which are selling really well, at last it's been BBQ weather. We're bouncing with BBQ ideas, from Mediterranean lamb riblets to simple fillet steaks and pork chops, whilst the production line of burgers seems never to stop.  In fact unless we have a big event happening the Gray Family are not frequent "barbequers" , and it's a time of year where I like to cook different things.  Last night I made this pork escalope recipe, which was first cooked for me by Edward Todd's (Fury Events) mother about 16 years ago!

We're in the Jubilee mood with a very British looking shop and we're busy with orders for all your celebration parties! Our pitch in Durham Market Place every Saturday from 9am-2.30pm is well supported, do contact us if you would like us to bring any meat or eggs down to our stall for you.  We'll be here on Open Farm Sunday so do call in and see the end product of Marks' hard work!
