March Recipe



100g butter

1.5 tablespoons golden syrup

100g sugar

75g  plain flour

150g porridge oats

50g dess.coconut

0.25 teaspoon bicarb of soda


Melt the butter and sugar together in a large saucepan over a gentle heat.

Weigh out all the remaining ingredients into a bowl and mix into the liquid.  Spoon into a roasting tin lined with baking paper and press down, but just lightly. Bake at 180 degrees for 10 minutes or until golden brown.  Cool and serve
